A part-time Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) position is available for the second semester at an elementary school in Pawtucket, RI. This role focuses primarily on PreK students, with occasional support for grades 1 through 3. The assignment runs from January 5, 2026, through June 15, 2026, and offers a structured, onsite schedule from 8:00 AM to 3:30 PM, Monday through Thursday, with Fridays off.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide speech and language therapy services tailored to young learners.
- Assess and develop individualized treatment plans for students from PreK to grade 3.
- Collaborate with educators and school staff to support student communication goals.
- Maintain accurate records and progress reports for each caseload student.
- Participate in team meetings and parent conferences as needed.
Qualifications:
- Active State License in Speech-Language Pathology.
- Valid Educator Credential specific to the state.
- Experience in school-based speech-language pathology, preferably with young children.
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work collaboratively within a school environment.
- Certification of Clinical Competence (CCC) in Speech-Language Pathology preferred.
